Gifts at Work: Academic Resources

Information Literacy Lab

In October 2004, the parent-funded Information Literacy Lab opened its doors to Loyola students and faculty. Students and Professors are able to use the space for presentations, studying, and group work and class instruction.

Mobile Classroom

Starting in the 2005 - 06 academic year students and professors will be the first to take advantage of 30 fully-equipped laptops, which will allow students to interact with the technology, rather than passively watch their professors do so in virtually any space within the Monroe Library.

Legal Research and Writing Program

Six new writing fellows, including Bobby Dexter, J.D., Harvard University, editor-in-chief of the Harvard Law Review, joined the School of Law faculty to teach writing skills to 1Ls as a foundation to their legal education.

Literacy Living Room and Lab
Privately funded projects allow for expanded academic resources, including the Information Literacy Living Room and Lab.
