Private gifts to the College of Social Sciences foster the discovery of new
knowledge through research, scholarship and creative activity, educating future leaders to take on the social and environmental
problems in our city, state, and nation, and throughout the world.
Gifts to the College of Social Sciences Annual Fund are used at the dean’s discretion and can be applied where funds are most needed.

- Support for doctor of nursing practice degree
- Visiting professorships - $60,000
- Strategic nursing leadership chair - $1,200,000
- Graduate scholarships - $25,000 each
- Teaching assistantships - $500,000
- Fund for emerging pedagogical technology - $100,000
- Support for translating LIM curriculum into Spanish - $50,000
- Scholarships for LIM students - $25,000
