Louisiana tax benefit for computer donations

The state of Louisiana offers a tax benefit to donors of computer equipment to educational institutions. For donating computer equipment to Loyola, you would get a state income tax credit of 40 percent of the value of the donation as well as a federal and state tax deduction for the full value of the equipment.
