Creating a Stronger Loyola

This was a difficult year for Loyola—and the city it calls home. As the university seeks to recover from Hurricane Katrina, we ask for your help. We are proud to say that alumni, parents, students, and friends have already demonstrated their faith in and appreciation of Loyola by contributing more than $3 million to the Loyola Relief Fund. Yet even with this generosity, Loyola still has a far way to go.

Tuition covers only 63 percent of the cost of a Loyola education; the remaining 37 percent is made up through gifts to The Loyola Fund. In 2004, 85 percent of students received some form of financial aid or scholarship. These students are afforded the opportunity of a quality education because of your generosity. Your gift is critical to ensure that current generations of Loyola students experience the same opportunities as previous generations!

“Donating to The Loyola Fund is one way that I say 'thank you' to Loyola for all that it has given to me and my children. It also provides me with the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping future generations of Loyola graduates experience the same opportunities.”
